Slavija is the very first hotel open within the walls of Diocletian’s Palace in Split. Been present in local history for that long has a responsibility to give back to the community. We decided to focus our efforts on culture and nature, so we have set us these two projects.

We strive to lower impact on nature the best way we can. Hotel recycles and uses special cleaning products and natural materials. We hold the Green Dalmatia certificate.
We can provide contacts of hiking and guides associations, various clubs and societies. They all have valuable information, advice and suggestions where to go and what to see.
Get special discounts on the standard price of accommodation in our hotel. Use your hiking ID card or of other associations related to nature and its protection.
Hotel Slavija, friend of culture
Keeping in mind that hotel Slavija is also the oldest hotel in Split city, we’ve come up with a project “Slavija, a friend of culture”, to be able to emphasize the hotel’s unique cultural and historical heritage and to be able to preserve it’s cultural identity.
It is our desire to make our guests feel really unique because they are staying at the monument of culture that is under protection of the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Croatia, also located inside the Diocletian’s palace, which also automatically puts it under the protection of UNESCO.
Trough the activities under this project we offer to all the guests, who are in any way connected to the institutions in the field of culture, special discounts on accommodation prices in hotel Slavija. Special pricing is also offered on accommodation and conference room prices to all associations that have their activities in the field of culture.
